The CIM-LRD has developed an extensive range of member benefits and services to take advantage of, including:

  • Labor Negotiations
  • Representation on Joint Grievance Committees
  • Process and Expedite NLRB Proceedings
  • Answer Labor and Employment Questions and Provide Collective Bargaining Interpretation
  • Administration of Training Programs
  • Conduct Educational Seminars
  • Coordination of Labor Activity with Employer Bargaining Groups
  • Regular and Periodic Review of Prevailing Rate Determinations and Administration
  • Provide Wage Rate and Hour Information and Recommendations on Procedure
  • Disseminate Information on Labor Matters to the Division Membership
  • Appoint Employer Trustees to Jointly Administered Fringe Benefit Funds and Construction Industries of Massachusetts Advancement Fund
  • Provide long range planning for the changes in the industry
  • Provide funding for higher education and training opportunities
  • Support and participate in programs or coalitions concerning legislation relevant to the industry
  • Charitable donations to benefit the workforce in the heavy & highway industry
  • Provide reimbursement for mandatory training programs, construction and safety programs and PPE
